Workflow in Lighthouse21 system
comprises the following steps:



Connection

First, you define the Connection to your data source eg. The economic system, payroll, attendance, production or CRM. You can define multiple connections simultaneously.


Query

Next, define the Query for selecting data from the source, sometimes termed "metadata". In the Query definition, you can use the dictionary for the displayed data. It also includes specifications for filter selection data eg. date from-to, list of customers, interval of articles etc. The query can also include the formulas for calculating the indicators. A special data sources are financial statements.



Authorization

After Query definition you can assign user Authorization. This will provide secure user access to the data. The user can eg. See data on sales prices.


View

The following is a step when you design a custom report or analysis. The definition of "View" to display the data you choose from several styles displayed, select the data in rows and columns, select subtotals and sorting methods. The basic display styles include 1D tables, the 2D tables, graphs, trees (hierarchical parent-child). In view definition can use the drag & drop, so preparation point of view is very user-friendly. You can define the relative filter eg. To display data from early last month after the end of the current month. To the View you can assign an icon for easy reference.

Dashboard

Dashboard is a special style of display of company information, when several objects are pleased on desktop for data analysis eg. A table, graph or / and map.



Panel

Finally, you can put Views into panels that you can define yourself. Each Panel represents a separate work area with a range of Views.
